Classical Music Audio Recording. High-quality
digital stereo recording of your concert, 2 hours or less. 3 CDs
delivered, each piece on a separate track. For orchestra, band,
choir, chamber ensemble, acoustic group or solo. Specialist in
solo, orchestra, voice, and keys. Classical music recording is
more of a documentary type of capture; what is present is what
is captured. The room size has much to do with the sound—in
general, the larger the better. Not for closely-miked pop styles,
amplification or off-stage sounds. Stereo mics are on a 15'–24'
single tall stand; spot mic if needed. Neumann, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica
and other mics used. DBX 166 compression, editing, reverb, and
FULL-battery field operation optional. Your choice of audio CD,
WAV, MP3, WMA, or AIF. 2, 4, or 8-track recording.
Video
Recording Hi-Def. Fantastic sound with high-quality miking
system used from above. No-edit documentary recording is often
sufficient for concerts. Video often suffers from low-quality
audio—by feeding audio from separate recording mics, CD-quality
audio is maintained on video. Or use handheld and wireless mics.
DVDs or video files (MTS, MP4, AVI) supplied and can be edited
at a lab. Or uploaded to YouTube (10min segments). While this
service is superior to consumer video, it is not broadcast quality—determine
its appropriateness. Fade in/fade out of clips, but no editing
or post-production. Interview package includes video, lighting,
wired and wireless mics feeding separate audio channels. All services
2.5hrs.
$450

tungsten lighting available on tall stands. Ensure adequate power
is available. 2hrs of use.

Concert
Sound Reinforcement. Tall, narrow and accurate Bose speakers
on stands project live sound for outdoor events, or recorded music
indoors. CD/MP3 player, 4-ch mixer, reverb, 2 wired mics, 1 wireless
lavalier. Powerful low-end subwoofer/amp optional (+$150).
$250*
with recording services ($300 alone, delivered) per day
$100 addit. day, same setup
Music
Stand lighting. Up to 6 stands lit. Mighty-Bright Battery
powered incandescants or Giardinelli plug-ins refitted with brighter
60W bulbs. Grand piano lighting and music stands avail.
Classical
Music Photography. Orchestra pose, portrait, event or
action photography with full usage rights for programs, brochures,
posters, and web. High resolution allows large orchestra prints
and visible faces! Digital camera, fast f1.8 lenses. Powerful
studio lights on stands are used (White Lightning, Norman, Sunpak).

included.
